Creating precious works of art and endearing products.
Since its founding in 1926, Tsukiji-Mottukou boasts a track record of about 9400 fittings and furniture deliveries throughout Shikoku, mainly in Ehime prefecture.We have both a design department and a manufacturing department, and our strength is in having one company design to production. Craftsmen consisting of both veterans and young people have high technical skills, and there are also craftsmen who have acquired the furniture first-class skill certification.Our craftsmen consist of both veterans and young people - all of whom are highly technically skilled, and we also employ craftsmen who have acquired the first-class skill certification in furniture.
We are engaged in many projects, and we continue to make things that will be loved for a long time, with a wealth of knowledge acquired in the process, using various technologies backed by a wealth of know-how.

WHAT’S UNIT8?
Beyond Woodworking
Managing director : Ryou Shibata has organized a new department, which is now in action in Kyoto-city Japan.A new department created by Ryo Shibata, Senior Managing Director, is based in Kyoto. We always challenge ourselves to approach new things beyond woodworking, such as making unique and interesting spaces, and raising local towns.
Why the name UNIT8?
“8” refers to the eight elements (design, geology, landscaping, outer gutter, skeleton construction, equipment, interior finishing, etc.) necessary to carry out a single project, and because of "8" resembling the auspicious infinity symbol I named it because of its goodness.
